Freshly Made! The Allure of New Sake

The Chiyonosono Sake Brewery's new sake brewing season usually runs from late October to early April, with new sake products being sold one after another, starting with the Shiboritate Nama-Genshu, which is shipped on December 1. President Honda says, "Every year we take on the challenge of developing new products while brushing up on our regular products in order to create new sake. As a result, we've come up with sake that is both playful and tasty, such as "Rock Ga Umai" and "Kaze to Neko to Daiginjo" (Wind, Cat, and Daiginjo).
On the second Sunday of March 2023, a New Sake Festival is scheduled to be held for the first time in four years. What kind of sake can we expect to find this year? We are so looking forward to it! You can take a tour of the brewery (and perhaps see Tera!) at the New Sake Festival in March. Be sure to visit.
